MEET THE TEAM
Joy Mesina
Chief Executive OfficerAs the head and one of the founding members of True Creators Philippines Advertising Inc. My team is very aggressive and passionate in growing our pool of influencers and partner brands to help them drive their business with the maximum return of investment with the services we provide. In less than a year amidst the pandemic, my team was able to sign influencers from different tiers and partnered with some of the biggest digital and marketing agencies in the country.
Aside from Influencer marketing, my vision for the company is to be known as one of premier producers of concerts and music events.
Prior to True Digital, I have worked extensively in Content production, Publishing, Events, and Marketing for multimedia platforms for over 15 years both in the Philippines and in the United Kingdom.
I headed an online music platform (One Music PH) under ABSCBN, the largest media conglomerate in the Philippines that managed and maintained the content publishing of the website while producing digital content such as concerts, celebrity-centric shows and other live streamed events. It was years of experience producing shows from ideating to overseeing production on time and budget.
I have a passion for content creation producing fresh and compelling ideas. I also have experience in influencer and community building, partnerships, and talent management.
Aside from One Music PH, I was part of the kids channel of ABSCBN's music group on Youtube. I managed social media, marketing and partnerships. I was also the producer of one of its original contents called Mimi the Bunny that teaches life skills and character values to kids.
In the UK, I furthered my studies in video editing and news writing. I also produced a short film and a documentary featuring illegal immigrants in the UK. I worked as a news stringer for GMA 7 Network based here in the Philippines. I covered the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2009, the Beatification of Pedro Calungsod in Rome and the London Olympics in 2012. I also had an internship in an independent British TV company that produces original content for Youtube and TV such as BBC and Discovery channel.
I have experienced all sorts of production roles from production assistant, researcher to a producer in a TV network in the Philippines.
